Top five Challenges in Marketing


The EEC Email Experience Council present us this great poll result, gathering the top five challenges in Marketing. This was a poll between "~300 people – marketers, vendors, clients, former clients and agencies" the result shows the most challenging activities (more than 5) that trouble the actual marketing experts and business owners. I the results are: Marketing plans with tight budgets that will interfere with the Customer acquisition and Customer conversion; the integration between marketing and the new technologies that will interfere again with the Customer acquisition and Customer conversion, the acquisition of customers through any media and not to run in legal troubles (using any media with out falling in the spam category) and in addition keeping the new customers, "Managing multiple “partner/vendor” contracts", privacy laws that are different in many of the 50 states. All this challenges sound troubling if we take in count that the Marketing paradigm can be resume in Customer acquisition, Customer conversion, Customer retention and Customer value growth, of course we can say that there in no easy part in this process and the is no part of this paradigm that can be left to good luck.

  1. Is a good list, but I'd say marketers have always faced similar challenges. Now just different channels, different technologies, same old challenges.
