CAPTURE KONY 2012

This is a great example of the worldwide positive impact of social media and how it is even shaping international justice. The non-profit organization Invisible Children creates this amazing campaign to raise worldwide support for the arrest of Joseph Kony, a criminal who has stolen over 30 thousand children in Uganda and other parts of Africa for 26 years and transforms them into an army of children. Watch the viral video Kony 2012 campaign, with more than 74 million views (in youtube alone) until this date. The community that they have created is fighting to capture Kony this year 2012 with the support of young people all over the world. It has already gotten the attention of the international community, the U.S. Government who is already providing support, influential policy makers and governments all over the world. Make this suffering children visible to the world! Kony's war must stop!

  1. An amazing phenomenon, isn't it. And I regard it as an example of using social media for good.
